FAQ

Where are the knockout matches played?

As a general rule, knockout matches are played in the region where the team is registered.

However, we recognize that some golf courses are located so close to each other across regional borders that it may be natural to arrange matches between teams from different regions. When the distance between clubs is short and it provides a more practical and fair setup, we may schedule matches between teams from different regions.

Our goal is to ensure a smooth tournament experience and minimize travel strain for players while maintaining fair competition. All match arrangements are carefully evaluated to balance geographical affiliation with practical considerations.

I don’t have a partner. Can I register alone?

To register without a partner, send an email to contact@arcticgolfchallenge.com, and we will assist you.

Are there handicap (HCP) requirements?
The maximum HCP for participation is 28. Players with a higher HCP are welcome to participate, but their HCP will be adjusted to 28.

How is the percentage-based reduction of HCP calculated?
Example:

  • Spiller 1: HCP 18,0

  • Spiller 2: HCP 24,5

  • Samlet HCP: 18,0 + 24,5 = 42,5

  • Justert lag-HCP: 42,5 × 0,25 = 10,62 (justeres til nærmeste desimal: 10,6).
